In any case in which an individual has been found guilty of a criminal offense, or has entered into a plea of guilty or an admission to sufficient facts, the individual has the right to appeal the decision to the Court of Appeals. An appeal is an opportunity for the individual to have his case reviewed for errors on the part of the assistant district attorney, defense counsel, or the trial judge.
